PRESENTATION TITLE:

Successfully Implementing PQRI Within a Cardiology Practice
GOAL

To identify steps and stakeholders necessary to successfully implement PQRI within a cardiology practice.

OBJECTIVES
1. Understand the PQRI program as offered by CMS
2. Explore how the PQRI program pertains to cardiology and how it would benefit providers both financially and clinically
3. Identify the tips and traps to increase the successful implementation of PQRI within your practice

ABSTRACT:

Many providers and administrative staff are now taking a second look at the benefits of participation.  As the bonus increases, and additional initiatives are linked to PQRI, it is worth the time and resources to consider implementation.

An overview of the PQRI program will be provided, as well an in-depth look at  those measures that specifically pertain to cardiology.  Finally, participants will learn tips and traps to successfully implementing PQRI within their practice/facility.
